Andrew Mazza Memorial Foundation Establishes Diesel Truck Technology Scholarship
Johnson College is proud to announce the establishment of the Andrew Mazza Memorial Scholarship. Funded by the Andrew Mazza Memorial Foundation, the scholarship will provide $1,000 each to two Johnson College students in the 2017-2018 academic year. The scholarship supports first or second year students studying Diesel Truck Technology.

Big rigs were out in force at Johnson College in Scranton on Sunday for the second annual Diesel Jam in memory of Andrew Mazza. Mazza’s family and friends organized the event because Mazza wanted to work on diesel trucks for a living. There is now a scholarship in his name for students who want to do the same thing. The event also featured vendors, food, live entertainment, and a mobile dyno.
Money raised supports the Diesel Truck Technology Program at Johnson College and the Andrew Mazza Foundation which helps with student scholarships.

Sunday’s event was held in memory of Andrew Mazza who was killed in a crash in Susquehanna County in 2016. Mazza’s family and friends organized the event because Mazza wanted to work on diesel trucks for a living. Now, there’s a scholarship in his name for students who want to do the same thing. In addition to the truck show, there were also vendors, food, live entertainment, and a mobile dynamometer, or “dyno.”

Andrew Mazza Foundation Board Members were featured on an episode of PA Live to promote the 2018 Andrew Mazza Foundation Chicken BBQ at Creekside Grove. Event proceeds will go towards community enrichment, local scholarships, local families who have experienced the loss of a loved one too soon, and other local community non-profit organizations.
The Andrew C. Mazza Memorial Health Center Grand Opening
After just 2 years of fundraising endeavors, The Andrew Mazza Foundation partnered with NEPA Community Health Care to open the doors of their brand new location in Clifford, Pennsylvania. The health center will serve residents in Clifford and the surrounding areas to receive health care and services at a more accessible and affordable location.

On Saturday, October 21, the 2nd Annual Andrew Mazza Foundation Chicken BBQ Benefit will take place at Creek- side Grove on Rte. 374 in Lenoxville. The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and will feature live entertainment, a 50/50 raffle, basket and gift certificate raffles, vendors, commemorative merchandise, a gun raffle, horseshoes, light snacks offered throughout the event, and a beverage tent.
Barbecue Chicken Dinner to Raise Money for Health Clinic
LENOX TOWNSHIP — It was all about cooking up chicken for a cause in Susquehanna County.
For just $10, people could get a chicken dinner, take part in a gun raffle, or have a drink or two at Creekside Grove near Lenoxville. It was all to raise money for the Andrew Mazza Foundation, which will plans to open a health care center in Greenville with NEPA Community Health Care.
Clinic in Susquehanna County to be Built in Memory of Crash Victim
LENOX TOWNSHIP — A crash victim’s memory was honored in Susquehanna County. Friends and relatives of Andrew Mazza gathered at Creekside Grove in Lenoxville on Saturday to raise money for a community health clinic. The NEPA Community Health Care facility will be built in Clifford.

NEPA Community Health Care in conjunction with the Mazza family is excited to announce a 2016 fund-raiser. A benefit in honor of Andrew C. Mazza is scheduled for Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Creekside Grove on Rt. 374 in Lenoxville.
Health Care Provider Aims To Open Clinic In Greenfield Twp.
GREENFIELD TWP. — NEPA Community Health Care is raising money to open a clinic for people who live in rural sections of northern Lackawanna and southern Susquehanna counties.The goal is to open a facility that offers primary care, behavioral, psychiatric and ancillary lab services such as X-rays and sonograms to underserved residents, Mary Wetherall, the nonprofit organization’s chief executive officer, said Tuesday.
